In today’s session of Season Five of The Road to Somewhere, we make our fourth and final stop in the state of Texas. John and Joy drive Rt. 66 to Glenrio, Texas, literally on the border of Texas and New Mexico. Here we look at the final piece of Jesus’ life through the lens of John’s gospel. Beginning with the Triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, this episode gets us to the most important week in human history. Many of the events of the week are well-known to people who believe in Jesus. Along with the entry into Jerusalem, the week includes the second cleansing of the Temple, the Last Supper, the trials of Jesus, and the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
