It might seem like we are doing Lent during Advent In Session #27 and Session #28. We are hitting the climax of our study of The Story of Jesus. In today’s study we look at one of the two most important events in human history. Next week we will study a second of the most important events in human history. Session #27 is an hour-by-hour explanation of the crucifixion of Jesus. I found myself once again filled with gratitude for the extremely painful cost Jesus paid for our redemption. Crucifixion was a brutal way to die. I hope this session gives you a renewed sense of appreciation for the suffering Jesus endured so that we might be forgiven, experience new life, and have a relationship with God.
