In today’s session of Season Five of “The Road to Somewhere”, we make our second stop in the state of Texas. We stop in McClean, Texas, and take a quick look at the second piece of Jesus’ life through the lens of Mark’s gospel. This includes the early ministry of Jesus from his baptism till opposition against him begins to peak. This is a time where multitudes seek him out, sometimes even called “The Year of Popularity.” Along with those events Mark records, part of this period includes several chapters of John’s gospel, which only John records. In the teaching video you will learn about the first cleansing of the Temple, the encounter with Nicodemus, and the trip to Galilee where Jesus will spend about eighteen months.
