What is so good about Good Friday? Most scholars that I have read believe the meaning of “good” in this instance carries the meaning of “holy”. On this day we observe the crucifixion of Jesus and his death on the cross. There came a point between noon and three on that day when cosmic business was transacted. The video goes into a detailed explanation of what was happening from God’s perspective as from the perspective of the followers of Jesus it was an absolute disaster. I have always loved the expression, “It’s Friday, but Sunday is coming.” I hope this video draws you closer to Jesus and gives you more of an appreciation of what he accomplished on the cross.
