“And when the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about a half hour.” This opening line of Revelation, Chapter 8, sets a somber tone for what is about to unfold in heaven.
The opening of the seal will introduce us to seven angels who stand in the presence of God. Each one is going to receive a trumpet. One-by-one they will sound their trumpets and cataclysmic events will unfold on earth. These are the trumpet judgments and the outcomes of each will increase the intensity of the Tribulation period.
