“The End is Near!” But which end? The end of Route 66? The end of the Bible? The end of the world? How about all of the above? You can see the ocean from where we will stop on Sunday. It is the 1940’s official end of Route 66, but not the post 1952 end. We will be in Santa Monica, but not quite to the pier. I intentionally timed the end of our journey so that I can spend two sessions instead of one on the book of Revelation. It is a great way to finish our time in the Bible. You can divide the book into two parts: Things that have, or are, taking place currently…and things to come. Sunday I will take you through the first three chapters of Revelation where you can find “the things that are.” The following week we will end our journey with a look at “the things that are to come” as portrayed by John in the rest of the book.
