The Year of the Bible

Hi All,

At the risk of being too self-promoting, I wanted you to know about a resource I developed.  2020 has been named the year of the Bible.  The last two years of my tenure at my church I took everyone through every book of the Bible, one book a week.  To make it a little more fun I took everyone down Rt. 66 as a hook to the 66 books of the Bible.  Every week we made a stop on Rt. 66 and then went through an entire book of the Bible.  This is the Galatians week link I’m sending as an example.  If you viewed one video a week you could go through almost every book this year.  You can access at both YouTube under Bob Beltz Route 66 or at www.bobbeltz.com and the Route 66 link.  So, say you’ve never read Isaiah.  Jesus quoted this more than any other Old Testament book.  You just go to one of the sites and look for Isaiah and in 45 minutes you have an overview of a very long OT book. It happens to have 66 chapters in Isaiah and is almost a mini Bible in itself.  Sorry about the self-promotion but you might find some of this helpful.  I’m planning on driving Rt. 66 next summer and adding a quick video to all 66 stops.

PS – For my Jewish friends, all 39 books of the Tanakh are covered, so you can get through your book in 39 weeks!

Love to all,

Bob
