This week’s session of The Story of Jesus is now available. We taped it yesterday and you can access it at the link below. Along with picking the men who filled out the Twelve disciples, Jesus calls them up a hill in Galilee and teaches them the core of what it means to live in relationship with him. Matthew’s gospel has the most complete record of this teaching. We call it “The Sermon on the Mount.” In this session I zero in on four of the first eight beatitudes where Jesus gives us a lesson on how to be truly happy. Generally speaking, they are all counter-intuitive and have been called “unlikely keys to uncommon happiness.
