This Wednesday I will be taking you through Chapter 12 of the book of Revelation. The chapter introduces us to three of the primary characters that will fill the rest of the book. You will meet a woman. She is dressed in the sun, has the moon under her feet, and has twelve stars around her head. Nordstrom’s does not carry this outfit. You will also meet a dragon. He has seven heads and ten horns and really doesn’t like the woman. Did I mention she is very pregnant and the dragon would like to kill her child? I will hope to show you how the dragon’s pursuit of the woman and her child is the spiritual background to the entire Old Testament and much of the modern world, including your life. You see, the dragon is not very fond of you and me either!
