How’s that for a hook? We are two weeks out from launching into Part Two of our study in the Book of Revelation on September 9. The first two weeks we will be looking at what I consider to be the interpretive key to the rest of the book. In chapters 4 and 5, John has a visionary experience of the throne of God in heaven. What happens in this vision leads to everything that is contained in chapters 6 through 18. This is the part of Revelation that is most difficult to interpret. Ultimately, it will take us to the Battle of Armageddon and the end of this world as we know it. I plan on teaching at least 8 weeks on this material and then beginning Part Three with the actual return of Christ and the Age to Come in the final chapters of the book.
