A.D. Arrives on Sunday

ADDareToBelieve[2]

He is not here, he is risen, just as he said, (Matthew 28:6).

Along with Sunday being Easter…the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus…it also marks the premiere of A.D.:the Bible continues. If you haven’t followed the development of this follow-up to The Bible series, produced by Mark Burnett and Roma Downey, check out the latest preview: bit.ly/AD4_3 Beginning with the crucifixion and resurrection, A.D. will be a 12 week series on NBC telling the story of the early church from the Book of Acts, and the ongoing tension between the church, the Roman Empire, and Jewish establishment. The series also attempts to fill in some of the blanks in Acts where we aren’t told what could have been happening in-between the events recorded. I had the privilege of serving as a consultant on the biblical passages and how they are being portrayed. I hope you will share this message with all your friends. Along with being compelling drama and great entertainment, it can be a conversation starter with your friends that you would like to talk to about Jesus. If you are in the Denver area, and don’t have a place to celebrate the resurrection, come join us at either 8:15 a.m., or 10:15 a.m., at Highline Community Church.
